St. Gabriel’s April 22 bottle drive a WCDR fundraiser

Special to WC Online

(Editor’s note: As we did during the 2017 flood, 2018 tornado, 2019 flood and COVID-19 pandemic, we will be making our coverage of potential extreme flooding in 2023 free access to our entire community to hopefully provide flooding updates, important information and resources to all West Carleton and beyond, so those outside the area can better understand what is happening in our rural community)

CONSTANCE BAY – The volunteers of St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church in Constance Bay are hosting their regular bottle drive fundraiser this Saturday (April 22), but this time the money is not going to the church.

The volunteers will dedicate this month’s bottle drive to the flood relief effort and will be donating all money raised to West Carleton Disaster Relief, a non-profit organization currently deployed in Constance Bay managing the volunteer flood relief effort across the community.

Please drop off your bottles and cans at the St. Gabriel church hall (205 Bayview Dr.) between 10 a.m. and noon tomorrow (April 22).
