DUNROBIN – Normally the Bill Mason Outdoor Education Centre trails are off limits to anyone who isn’t a student, but on Saturday, May 4 the public is invited to take a tour of the natural surroundings of the giant outdoor classroom.

WEST CARLETON – The Ottawa Carleton District School Board (OCDSB) used a deck of cards to choose its new board chair Tuesday (Nov. 14) evening.

FITZROY HARBOUR – After an hour of picking up garbage from the shoreline of nearby Fitzroy Provincial Park, the students of St. Michael’s Catholic School, Fitzroy Harbour brought home pounds of trash and a couple of things for the playground.

WEST CARLETON – Nearly two months after the start of the school year, West Carleton parents are still scrambling to get their kids to school, and in some cases, can’t even get their kids to school.

DUNROBIN – It was a new craft market in a new location, but organizers of the West Carleton Secondary School Makers’ Market say a whole bunch of people were able to find them Saturday, Oct. 14.

WEST CARLETON – The Ottawa Student Transportation Authority (OSTA) says they made gains in the current school bus shortage which has led to the cancellation of dozens of routes across Ottawa and denied hundreds of students in West Carleton public transportation to school, but Ward 5 Coun. Clarke Kelly says it isn’t enough for those parents who still have to rearrange their workdays to make sure their kids get to school.
