WEST CARLETON – West Carleton Secondary School’s (WCSS) innovative co-operative education program is looking for volunteer business mentors for the upcoming school year.

FITZROY HARBOUR – It was the end of a very confusing start to the school year, but Fitzroy Harbour students, parents and educators had smiles on their faces kicking-off the first day of school. Although you couldn’t see them.

WEST CARLETON – With the start of school just two weeks away, many West Carleton parents say the province’s return to school plan is not taking in to account rural Internet limitations and forcing them to make a decision they are not comfortable with.

CARP – Aspire Academy’s second school year is fast approaching. The thought of having to wear masks during the school day is not putting a smile on the staff’s faces. So, Aspire will put staff’s smiles on a button.

WEST CARLETON – West Carleton’s Ottawa Carleton District School Board (OCDSB) trustee Lynn Scott is also chair of the board and she wants to see a full return to class this coming September.

DUNROBIN – It’s been a challenging year to be a school student in 2020. COVID-19 has ruined a lot of important milestones on top of the devastating effect it has had on people’s health and the economy.

WEST CARLETON – Andrew West has represented the Green Party in Kanata-Carleton in three separate elections. Now he’s taking his shot at the party’s national leadership.

KINBURN – Just in time for your summer reading list, the Kinburn Little Library is open for business.

CARP – Aspire Academy was just getting through its first ever school year when COVID-19 struck.

CARP – As the world works to protect itself from the COVID-19 pandemic, the students of Ontario are now entering their fourth week without a school to go to.
