WEST CARLETON – With the start of school just two weeks away, many West Carleton parents say the province’s return to school plan is not taking in to account rural Internet limitations and forcing them to make a decision they are not comfortable with.

CARP – Aspire Academy’s second school year is fast approaching. The thought of having to wear masks during the school day is not putting a smile on the staff’s faces. So, Aspire will put staff’s smiles on a button.

WEST CARLETON – West Carleton’s Ottawa Carleton District School Board (OCDSB) trustee Lynn Scott is also chair of the board and she wants to see a full return to class this coming September.

DUNROBIN – It’s been a challenging year to be a school student in 2020. COVID-19 has ruined a lot of important milestones on top of the devastating effect it has had on people’s health and the economy.

DUNROBIN – The West Carleton Secondary School (WCSS) Link Crew threw a huge Grade 9 birthday bash last Tuesday (March 3) to help Grade 9s feel more welcome in the high school community.
