Jacoba “Cobi” Colpitts, 1950-2018
Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on June 27, 2018, at the Smiths Falls Hospital after a short, yet courageous battle.
A loving and faithful wife to Don for 48 years and sweethearts for 6 years before marriage. An extremely caring and devoted mother to her four children. A nurse by profession, her caring nature was obvious to all that knew her. She was a talented artist, and creative in all aspects of her life.
She leaves behind the love of her life Don Colpitts, and their four children, Kim, Tracey, Donna (Daniel) and Corey (Steph). She will be greatly missed by her six adored grandchildren Brittany, Brayden, Stephanie, Mackenzie, Kate, and Bradley. Survived by her very close and loving sister Trish St. Croix (Peter). Predeceased by her parents Nick and Trudy Huttinga.

Friends may visit the family at the Alan R. Barker Funeral Home 19 McArthur Avenue, Carleton Place, on Tuesday, July 3, 2018, 2-4 p.m., and 6-8 p.m. A memorial service will be held at the Stittsville United Church 6255 Fernbank Road, Stittsville, on Wednesday, July 4 at 10 a.m.
