Police seek missing 15-year-old Corkery girl

CORKERY – The Ottawa police are looking for a 15-year-old Corkery resident who went missing from the area on June 26.

“The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) Missing Persons Section is asking for public assistance to locate missing youth Jordyn Moore, 15-years-old, of Ottawa,” the OPS released in a statement today (June 30). “Her family is worried for her well-being and safety.”

Jordyn was reported missing by her family on Friday, June 26.

“She is from Carp,” OPS media relations officer Const. Martin Dompierre told West Carleton Online this afternoon (June 30). “The place she was last seen is close to where she resides.”

Jordyn is described as a white young woman, 5’5” (165 cm), 135 lbs (61 kg), has long blond hair, piercing on left lower lip, left eye brow and on both side of her nose. She also has a heart tattooed on her left hand. Jordyn was last seen wearing a black shirt, black pants and sandals carrying a knapsack.

“Jordyn was reported missing to the Ottawa Police on June 26,” the OPS said. “She was last seen getting into a silver vehicle, possibly a newer model Ford Taurus four door, in the area of Peter Robinson Road in Ottawa.”

Peter Robinson Road is in the Corkery area parallel to Upper Dwyer Road between Vaughn Side Road and March Road.

Police had no more information to share today.

“There is nothing more we can report at this time,” Dompierre said.
