DUNROBIN – Not every Christmas event can be a parade, and the Dunrobin and District Women’s Institute (WI) are bringing back their popular Christmas Tree Lighting to the four corners in Dunrobin on Sunday. Nov. 27.

CITY HALL – Carp’s Janet Mason was one of 15 City of Ottawa residents inducted in to the prestigious Order of Ottawa in a ceremony at City Hall last week (Nov. 3).

CARP – During the Diefenbunker Cold War Museum vernissage for 2022 Artist-in-Residence Christos Pantieras, visitors got to view his take on military propaganda while learning about the LGBT Purge of Canadian military history.

CARP – The West Carleton Art Society’s (WCAS) juried show Expressions of Art returned to the Carp Agricultural Hall Thanksgiving weekend and after a two-year COVID-forced hiatus, the art was warmly received.

WEST CARLETON – As Coun. Eli El-Chantiry finishes the last few weeks of his municipal career, why not take the opportunity to roast him on his way out?

CARP – Nothing is cuter than tiny humans in costumes and the Diefenbunker Cold War Museum will be full of them on Oct. 26 with the return of the annual Toddlers’ Hallowe’en Hunt.

WEST CARLETON – The leaves are starting to change and the Red Trillium Studio Tour organizers are making sure Oct. 22 and 23 will be a beautiful weekend featuring art and nature on the fall tour.
