Savvy Seconds-West Carleton open for appointments

KINBURN – West Carleton’s only free consignment story is re-opening for appointment-only visits just in time for the new school year.
While the volunteers of Savvy Seconds have been busy all season hosting pop-up shops, providing clothing for fashion shows and visiting the community, its tiny shop located at the West Carleton Community Complex at the corner of Kinburn Side and Carp roads, has been firmly closed throughout the COVID-19 pandemic due to safety concerns and the challenge of physically distancing in the small store.
But Savvy Seconds founder Vera Jones is opening the store again for appointment shopping.
“Great news, Savvy Seconds-West Carleton is now able to see clients by appointment,” Jones released in a statement today (Aug. 30). “We can see one client at a time, or two people from the same ‘bubble.’ If you would like to make an appointment, send us an email at vljones@ymail.com. We will set up an appointment with you.”
Savvy Seconds-West Carleton is open Monday to Friday. All COVID-19 protocols are followed during visits, so bring a mask.
