Police on lookout for knife-wielding thief

OTTAWA – Ottawa police are on the hunt for a knife-wielding thief.

On Sunday, Feb. 10, at approximately 7:30 p.m., a male suspect entered a pharmacy in the 1600 block of Heron Road and robbed the clerk at knifepoint. An undisclosed quantity of narcotics was taken. He then fled the area on foot. No injuries were reported.

He is described as a white male in his 30s, 6’ (183 cm), thin build. He was wearing blue jeans, a black jacket and a distinctive baseball hat with a red brim (view picture.)
