Diefenbunker closed by new COVID restrictions

CARP – Starting tomorrow (Jan. 5), The Diefenbunker: Canada’s Cold War Museum will be closed to the public in accordance with the province’s new COVID-19 regulations.

“Effective Jan. 5, the Diefenbunker will be temporarily closed for at least 21 days (until Jan. 26), subject to trends in public health and the guidelines provided by the Government of Ontario,” Diefenbunker staff released in a statement today (Jan. 4). “Ticketholders will be contacted by our team. Please reach out to us at reservations@diefenbunker.ca with any questions, concerns, or requests.”

“We’re really sorry for any inconvenience and look forward to safely welcoming you back underground soon,” Diefenbunker staff said.
