FITZROY HARBOUR – It was a short season, meaning every game mattered, and Bren Electric took home the Harbour Ball championship in the league’s milestone 40th year.

MICKSBURG – The West Carleton Electric (2-7) went in to the heart of Ottawa Valley fastball last Friday (Sept. 10) night and was swept in a double-header against the Micksburg Twins (6-3).

ARNPRIOR – Perry Freda had to come from behind on day two, but last Monday (Sept. 6) he won his 11th Madawaska Golf Men’s Club Championship.

MANOTICK – Last Wednesday’s (Sept. 1) Greater Ottawa Fastball League weekly doubleheader featured the West Carleton Electric, but this time in Manotick as the season finished week eight and headed in to week nine.

CARP – Week seven of the Greater Ottawa Fastball League regular season featured two teams filled with local talent battling for fourth place.

FITZROY HARBOUR – The COVID-19-shortened 40th regular season of Harbour Ball fastball has come to an end and its time to et serious for the Harbour boys of summer.

PRINCETON – A painful slide in an opening game win of the Ontario Amateur Softball Association (OASA) U16 Provincial B tournament put the West Carleton Jr. Electric low on energy dealing with an already short bench for the remainder of the tournament.

FITZROY HARBOUR – The west Carleton Electric ran in to a very hot pitcher last night and the Orleans Rebels got their first win of the season in Greater Ottawa Fastball League action last night (Aug. 19) in Fitzroy Harbour.

ARNPRIOR – The West Carleton Rivermen of the Eastern Ontario Super Hockey League (EOSHL) will be moving from Kinburn to the Bert Hall Arena at the Nick Smith Centre in Arnprior for the 2021-2022 season.
