ARNPRIOR – What a difference a couple of weeks make.

WEST CARLETON – Three West Carleton minor hockey teams had a very big week showing communities across the Ottawa Valley they’re pretty good at hockey.

DUNROBIN – The PGA Tour Canada is coming to Dunrobin in 2023.

KINGSTON – The third leg of the CurlOn Ottawa Junior Curling Series (OJCS) U18 Trillium Open is over, and while Huntley Curling Club’s (HCC) Team Frlan didn’t win, they did make progress on their quest for a provincial berth.

GANANOQUE – The Islanders seem to have the Arnprior Rivermen’s number as Gananoque thumped the Rivermen 11-6 last Saturday (Oct. 29) in Eastern Ontario Super Hockey League (EOSHL) action.

GLOUCESTER – The West Carleton U18 Crusaders dominated the eighth annual Capital Volunteer Cup last weekend (Oct. 28 – 30) going undefeated to hoist the cup.

ARNPRIOR – It was an important 5-4 win for the Arnprior Rivermen last Saturday (Oct. 22) getting the team back to .500; in to the playoffs; and a win at home before heading on the road this weekend in Eastern Ontario Super Hockey League (EOSHL) action.

CARP – The kick-off to the West Carleton curling season got underway in Carp over Thanksgiving weekend with the Huntley Curling Club (HCC) welcoming back returning members and inviting new curlers to come out and give the sport a try.

ARNPRIOR – The Arnprior Rivermen (1-2-0) had no trouble filling the net Saturday (Oct. 15) afternoon in the Bert Hall Arena but couldn’t secure the win losing to the Gananoque Islanders (3-0-0) 10-9 in overtime in Eastern Ontario Super Hockey League (EOSHL) action.

ARNPRIOR – The Arnprior Rivermen won one and lost one in an Eastern Ontario Super Hockey League (EOSHL) doubleheader weekend and now find themselves looking up in their division.
