RENFREW COUNTY – Although not in Ottawa’s category, Renfrew County COVID-19 cases are on the rise as the upper-tier municipality records its sixth new case this week.
The Renfrew County and District Health Unit reported another COVID-19 case yesterday (Oct. 7) bringing the total to 59 confirmed cases since the outbreak began last March.
The numbers also include an additional case listed as resolved. The local health unit is currently aware of seven active cases, all in self isolation.
This marks the 6th new case this week in Renfrew County, with three yesterday and two on Monday.
The case today is listed as a community member in the Renfrew area.
