DUNROBIN – A little later this week (May 26) the entire West Carleton Secondary School (WCSS) student population will celebrate an incredible feat, raising more than $90,000 for the Canadian Cancer Society with a shot at the school record still within sight.

FITZROY HARBOUR – All 150 (or so) St. Michael’s Catholic School Fitzroy students spent Friday (May 5) morning jumping, raising money and awareness for heart health.

WEST CARLETON – Carp’s Ken White Construction wants students to know the trades are a great career path and have launched a $10,000 scholarship to prove it.

KINBURN – The Stonecrest Elementary School yard had a carnival-like atmosphere Wednesday (June 15) evening with the return of the Stonecrest Elementary School Council and Staff Summer Send-Off.

FITZROY HARBOUR – A long neglected front garden is getting the love and care needed as St. Michael’s Catholic School students and staff turn the area in to a space filled with native plants, butterflies and canoes.

WEST CARLETON – The West Carleton Secondary School (WCSS) Wolves senior basketball team won the National Capital Secondary School Athletic Association (NCSSAA) 2022 Championship defeating the Longfields-Davidson Heights Ravens 64-55 in Nepean April 13.
