FITZROY HARBOUR – On Friday, May 26, the students of St. Michael’s Catholic School Fitzroy Harbour were absolute monsters.

DUNROBIN – As West Carleton Secondary School (WCSS) gets set to celebrate its 35th anniversary next year, an October craft market is hoped to celebrate and showcase the many talents of former and current West students.

DUNROBIN – More than 500 West Carleton Secondary School (WCSS) students took lap after lap Friday (May 26) for more than 12 hours showing their solidarity with those battling the horrible disease of cancer.

DUNROBIN – A little later this week (May 26) the entire West Carleton Secondary School (WCSS) student population will celebrate an incredible feat, raising more than $90,000 for the Canadian Cancer Society with a shot at the school record still within sight.

FITZROY HARBOUR – All 150 (or so) St. Michael’s Catholic School Fitzroy students spent Friday (May 5) morning jumping, raising money and awareness for heart health.

WEST CARLETON – Carp’s Ken White Construction wants students to know the trades are a great career path and have launched a $10,000 scholarship to prove it.

DUNROBIN – The National Capital Secondary School Athletic Association (NCSSA) fall sports season is well underway and the West Carleton

DUNROBIN – Two West Carleton Secondary School (WCSS) teachers launched a Cultural Inclusion committee this year, and it seems as though the whole school is buying in.

FITZROY HARBOUR, KINBURN – For West Carleton’s many students at the four elementary schools and one high school in the community, this week (June 27) is graduation week.

KINBURN – The Stonecrest Elementary School yard had a carnival-like atmosphere Wednesday (June 15) evening with the return of the Stonecrest Elementary School Council and Staff Summer Send-Off.
