FITZROY HARBOUR – It’s the greatest time of the year – softball season in Fitzroy Harbour.

CARP – The West Carleton Garden Club and Horticultural Society’s (WCGC) third annual Seedy Saturday last weekend (March 8) brought garden lovers from across the Ottawa Valley to get a start on the season, because the snow is melting away.

CONSTANCE BAY – It was another big turnout featuring large crowds, lots of prizes and three very valuable fish as Mike and Peter’s Fishing Derby celebrated 18 years last Sunday (March 2).

FITZROY HARBOUR – Dinner, breakfast, hockey, softball, trivia and fun highlight the Fitzroy Harbour Winter Carnival Thursday, Feb. 6 to Saturday, Feb. 8.

DUNROBIN – Men’s Sheds are popping up all over the Ottawa Valley, with groups in Almonte, Arnprior and Carleton Place.
