CARP – The 162nd Carp Fair finally arrives this week, and not only does it bring a lot of fun with it, it also does a lot of fundraising.

CONSTANCE BAY – While officially known as Bay Days, the one-day all ages event at the Constance and Buckham’s Bay Community Centre packed enough fun in to Saturday (Sept. 13) festival organizers could have easily filled a whole weekend.

CONSTANCE BAY – It’s the one week a year when the West Carleton Royal Canadian Legion opens its doors to everybody to let the community come in, find out what Branch 616 is all about, and maybe even become a member.

CONSTANCE BAY – For 20 years the Rural Root Theatre Company (RRTC) has been entertaining West Carleton (and beyond) fans with live theatre, and this year will be exactly the same, with lots of new stuff too.

KINBURN – Last year the popular Kinburn corn boil returned from COVID, and Sept. 20 the event rounds in to sophomore form with more community connection, live music and West Carleton’s favourite fall vegetable.

CARP – West Carleton’s Truth and Reconciliation Ceremony will return to the Diefenbunker for a second year Tuesday, Sept. 30.

CARP – The West Carleton Art Society’s (WCAS) popular juried show Expressions of Art is coming to the community several weeks earlier this year.

OLD OTTAWA SOUTH – Youth theatre troupe The Company of Adventurers will be raising money for Dunrobin’s Holly’s Haven Wildlife Rescue through Shakespeare.

CARP – In this heat, enjoy live theatre underground in the cool climes of the Diefenbunker: Canada’s Cold War Museum.
