DUNROBIN – For a newcomer, there’s a couple of confusing things to get through while attending St. Mary’s annual Dunrobin Old Time Corn Roast.

CARP – A little rain was no problem for the Huntley Township Historical Society (HTHS) Saturday (Aug. 12) afternoon, after all, they had a brand-new building to find shelter in.

DUNROBIN – The backdrop is finished and now it’s time for the whole Dunrobin community to come together and help finish the beautiful mural being created at the site of the still under construction Dunrobin plaza.

CONSTANCE BAY – For the first time in the Rural Root Theatre Company’s (RRTC) history, the theatre troupe will be performing on a brand-new stage, thanks to, well the RRTC.

GALETTA – The Galetta Community Association (GCA) celebrated the village’s 150th anniversary Saturday (July 29) in what might have been the biggest party ever held in Galetta in that 150 years.

CARP – A camp focusing on literacy and the love of reading got a special treat last Tuesday (July 18) when children’s author Meghan Cook and her two young illustrators dropped by to read from their lullaby.

CARP – When every win pays out, the Carp Shootout men’s fastball tournament this weekend (July 21 to 23) is attracting some of the sport’s top talent for a tournament with $7,000 in prize money.

FITZROY HARBOUR – It was a perfect weekend to celebrate the Harbour, and hundreds did with activities for everyone under the sun.

FITZROY HARBOUR – Eddy and the Stingrays returned to Fitzroy Provincial Park Thursday, July 6, to kick-off the 26th Concert in the Park series for the second year in a row.

CARP – Hundreds of people got their dabbers out and their umbrellas last evening (July 5) in an effort to beat the heat at the first Carp Fair Drive-In Bingo of the season.
