Week 3: West Carleton Online holiday trivia contest
By Jake Davies - West Carleton Online
WEST CARLETON – These rainy December days are perfect for staying indoors and catching up on the news.
Perfect, because it’s Monday and time for round three of the West Carleton Online Holiday Trivia contest.
So far, our two winners are both current subscribers. We don’t think that’s much of a surprise, because we honestly have no idea where one would go to find news about West Carleton other than West Carleton Online.
Last week, we had three contestants get perfect scores. Well we can’t have that, so we have upped the question difficulty level to four. Good luck in the second last edition of the West Carleton Online Holiday Trivia contest.
Without further ado, here are this week’s questions:
- What organization is Jane Wilson association with?
- Who made the tastiest Christmas cookies in all of Galetta this year?
- What did the Kanata Sailing Club do without for the last five years?
- How many Christmas cards did West Carleton school kids make for seniors this holiday season?
- How many floats were in the record-breaking Carp Santa Claus Parade.
Don’t forget to send your answers to westcarletononline@gmail.com. Also, please share this story widely, it is free access, and we want as many people as possible to play and have a chance to win a one-year West Carleton Online subscription as we can include.
