Ward 5 candidate temporarily suspends campaign to provide tornado relief

WEST CARLETON—Judi Varga-Toth, candidate for Ottawa city council for West Carleton-March, will suspend her campaign for a day on Sunday,( Sept. 30) so she and her volunteer team can assist in relief efforts for residents affected by last Friday’s tornado.

 “My friends and neighbours’ homes have been severely damaged and in some cases destroyed,” said Varga-Toth who is a Dunrobin resident. “It’s going to take a massive effort by everyone to begin the job of cleaning up and starting to re-build.”
