OTTAWA VALLEY – Yesterday (Oct. 24), late at night, West Carleton Online shared with its readers the results of the City of Ottawa’s Ward 5 council and city mayor results.

I have dedicated my life to education. I am running for OCDSB trustee because I believe we must work together urgently to transform the ways students undertake learning.

The past two years have been tough on parents.Nowhere were the COVID-19 lockdowns felt more than among our rural constituents where remote learning, bus driver shortages and last-minute notices on re-entry made student life unnecessarily difficult.

I’m seeking re-election to the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board because providing our children with the best possible education should be everyone’s top priority. 

OTTAWA – Two City of Ottawa mayoral candidate are accusing Ottawa Police Services Board chair Coun. Eli El-Chantiry of having a conflict of interests in the hiring process of a new Ottawa police chief.

WEST CARLETON – More than 1,500 West Carleton residents have taken advantage of the City of Ottawa’s advance voting days.
