CARP – Last weekend (Jan. 17, 18) the West Carleton Outdoor Hockey League (WCOHL) kicked off the 2026 season with perfect weather, happy kids and cheering parents, only a week late.

BUCKHAM’S BAY – Spend Family Day Sunday (Feb. 15) showing the kids how fun it is to stand on a frozen river in the freezing cold with a line in a hole hoping a fish bites it.

TORONTO – West Carleton-March Coun. Clarke Kelly says his focus at the Rural Ontario Municipal Association (ROMA) conference was making sure provincial politicians matched infrastructure needs with growth.
