Ottawa hosting quartet of camps in WC in 2026

WEST CARLETON – You don’t have to leave Ward 5 to find some great summer camps for your kiddos this year.
“The city is offering some great camps in West Carleton-March for 2026,” Ward 5 Coun. Clarke Kelly released in a statement Tuesday (Jan. 27). “There’s a March Break computer camp from March 16-20, along with some great summer camps.”
The Huntley Community Centre (108 Juanita Ave.) is hosting Computer Camp over the March Break, March 16 to 20. The camp is ideal for kids ages six to 12.
There will be engineering and robotics using Lego from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and designing and 3D printing from 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.
This summer there are three more camps in Ward 5 to enjoy.
The 2026 Ottawa Adventure camp is perfect for kids six to 12.
“Get ready for the kids summer fun sport adventures, outdoor games and an out trip,” city staff released in a statement.
There are week long openings between June 29 and Aug. 21 and the home base or the camp will be the Constance and Buckham’s Bay Community Centre (262 Len Purcell Dr.). Registration opens Feb. 26 at 9 p.m. and the cost is $211.99 per week. There is pre and post care available.
There will also be summer camps in Constance Bay for four and five year olds between June 29 and Aug. 21.
Camps offer outdoor play, daily activities, sports and craft time. Pre and post care is available and camps run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The cost is $224.84 per week and registration opens Feb. 26 at 9 p.m.
Several locations in Carp will be hosting summer camps in 2026.
The W. Erskine Johnston Arena will host Fun and Friends for four and five year olds featuring arts and crafts, games, sports, special events and outdoor activities. Also at the arena is Ottawa Adventure with sports, games, crafts, special events, an out trip or special guest and it may include swimming.
This camp is perfect for kids aged six to 12.
At the HCA Carp Mess Hall Variety Camps will be held for kids aged eight to 12. There will be drama, escape, glee and magic camps offered throughout the summer. At the Carp Memorial Hall Computer Camps will run all summer.
“Camp is led by Wise Academy staff,” city staff said. “Working on robotics, 3D printing, coding and Minecraft.”
Registration opens Feb. 26 at 9 p.m.
