It is with sadness that the family announce the sudden but peaceful passing of Louise MacDonald of Arnprior. She passed away at the Queensway-Carleton Hospital in Ottawa on Thursday evening, October 25th 2018 at the age of 77. Beloved daughter of the late Kenneth and Yvonne (nee Lacroix) Guitor. Dearly loved mother of Daniel Henwood (Joanne), Suzanne Avery (Allan), Diane Ritchie (Jim), Katherine Boudreau (Randy), Michael Henwood and Christopher MacDonald (Melissa). Cherished and adored “Mama Bear” of her grandchildren: Melissa, Jonathan, Nathalie, Julia, Michelle, David, Mark, R.J., Jordan, Taylor, Natasha, Samantha, Jesse, James and Michael and her great-grandchildren: Faith, Hope, Haven, Hailey, Mia, Daniella, Aria, Melody, Harmony and Kane. Dear sister of Jacques Guitor (Debbie) and Micheline Mackin (Gerry). Predeceased by 2 brothers: Robert and Jean (Denise) and a sister: Agathe Patry (late Pierre). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Family and friends may pay their respects during visitation at the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and again on Monday morning from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. John Chrysostom Church, Arnprior on Monday morning, October 29th at 11 o’clock. Cremation will follow. In memory of Louise, please consider a donation to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute.
