Julie Sherman

In loving memory of Julie Sherman Julia (Julie) Elaine Sherman (nee Moran), wife, best friend and life partner for 45 years of Jack Sherman of Ottawa, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at the Queensway Carleton Hospital. Born May 23, 1939 in Smiths Falls, Ontario, Julie was the daughter of the late John and Christine Moran (Willoughby). Beloved mother of Patti Elaine Moran and the late Kenneth Charles (Casey) White; step-mother of Ian (Randi) Sherman, Karen (Paul) Custoreri and Andrea (Joe) Bentolila; sister of Jack Moran (Polly ? best friend) and the late Jim Moran; Bubby of Julie (Doug) White, Jonathan (Inna), Matthew and Adam Sherman, Jordan and Melissa Custoreri and Josh and Jesse Bentolila. Julie will forever be missed as a wife, mother, sister, bubby, aunt and friend.

Julie and Jack were the quintessential couple who inspired those around them to love the way they loved each other. Julie will be remembered for her charm and intelligence, and the razor wit that was always enjoyed by those who were fortunate enough to know her. She was a ?mother to all? in both heart and deed, always putting others before herself. In Julie?s last days, these traits remained with her and provided solace to the loved ones by her side. The family is truly grateful to the doctors, nurses and staff of the Queensway Carleton Hospital for their extraordinary dedication, warmth and support.
