Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, June 13th, 2019.
Doug is survived by his wife of 46 years Glenda (nee Ventress), siblings Barbara Brown, Gerry (Pam), Donna (Jeff) Crozier, David (Ruth), Debbie (Lyle) Dolan, sister-in-law Marly Burke, and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his sister Judy Hansen (Stan), brother Bobby (Nina), and brother-in-law Dennis Brown.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, June 20th at 11:00 a.m. at Boyd’s United Church, Lanark Highlands with a reception to follow hosted by the United Church Women.
The family would like to thank Dr. Scott Higham for his care and compassion, and all the nurses from St. Elizabeth’s and Bayshore.
