Connor Gerard Engelberts,
January 18, 1983 – June 12, 2019

With heavy hearts, the family of Connor Engelberts announces his passing on June 12, 2019 at the age of 36. He passed away with the love of his life and wife, Stephanie Engelberts (Finner), by his side. He was a proud and loving father to his twin girls, Anne and Audrey. He was the beloved son of John and Julie. Connor was admired by his siblings Shauna (Jay Tremblay) and Tom (Kayla Lunney), adored by his nephew Waylon Engelberts and nieces Ruby Engelberts and Logan Tremblay. He was the cherished son in law to Catherine and Patrick Finner and brother in law to Melanie (Jacky) and Natalie Finner (Brad). Connor was a family man who loved teaching his girls how to fish, garden, play baseball, snowmobile, four wheel, and grow giant pumpkins. He was well respected by all members of his community. His modesty concealed his dedicated work ethic, as well as his kind and giving heart. He was always the first to help others with his carpentry skills. Connor was an avid hunter, angler and tinkerer. He loved cooking meat on his homemade spit and making maple syrple. Family and friends may pay their respects at the Tubman Funeral Home Carp Chapel, 115 Rivington St., Carp on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 from 1:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-9:00 p.m. A celebration of life will take place at the Kinburn Community Centre on Friday, June 21, 2019 located at 3045 Kinburn Side Road starting at 3:00 p.m. In memory of Connor, a Go Fund Me Page has been set up in Anne and Audrey’s name to help with their education fund.
