Lanark, Renfrew OPP restricting access to detachments during provincial lockdown

Special to WC Online

OTTAWA VALLEY – Both the Lanark and Renfrew detachments of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) will have restricted access during the provincially mandated COVID-19 lockdown.

The OPP is restricting access to its facilities and detachments across the province.

The OPP is limiting the processing of routine criminal record checks and vulnerable sector checks and fingerprinting to essential workers and volunteers only.

Anyone looking to enter the Renfrew/Arnprior/Killaloe/Lanark and Bancroft detachments must make an appointment first.

Individuals will be pre-screened and are required to have proper personal protective equipment prior to entering the detachment.

Criminal record checks and vulnerable sector check appointments can be made by calling 613-432-3211 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.

For all other police matters, please call 1-888-310-1122 or your local detachment. Report online by visiting http://opp.ca/reporting. For emergencies, call 911.
