Free day use at Fitzroy Provincial Park

FITZROY HARBOUR – In an effort to ensure Ontarians can still get their fresh air during COVID-19, Ontario parks, including Fitzroy Provincial Park, is offering free day use this summer Mondays through Thursdays.
“Getting outdoors and spending time in nature can have such a positive impact on our physical and mental health and well-being, and this has become even more evident during the COVID-19 pandemic,” Ontario Parks released in a statement. “You can visit any operating provincial park Monday to Thursday for day use opportunities at no cost. The park will still issue you a permit, but you won’t need to pay.”
Most permits are valid from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., but can vary by park.
