Dates: Sept 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, & 7th, 2019
Who can register? This clinic is for people who have trouble with their feet, are curious about the
health of their feet and/or may have one of the following criteria:
Conditions
Diabetes
Balance or flexibility issues
Nail problems
Foot/leg deformities (i.e. flat feet, bunions, hammer toes…)
Corns or callouses
Wears custom orthotics, or problems finding shoes that fit
Cracks on heels
Painful feet/legs
Neurological, muscular or bone conditions
Vision problems
Poor foot or leg circulation
foot ulcer
Loss of feeling in feet or legs
New to foot care

Michelle DeGrandmont RPN, Foot Care Nurse, will contact you to book an
appointment.
Where: Chartwell Kanata, 20 Shirley’s Brook Dr, Kanata, ON
How to prepare and what will happen at the appointment?
Please DO NOT cut your nails or file corns or callouses prior to your appointment. Please remove all
nail polish, & bring a list of your medications, & a couple pairs of shoes and orthotics.
Thorough health assessments of your feet and legs by advanced and diabetic foot care nurses will be
provided as part of their Foot Care Nurse course, including the following:
foot risk assessment foot care treatment,
biomechanical assessment, gait & balance analysis,
circulation test of your feet footwear and/or orthotic assessment
You will receive personalized patient education handouts and recommendations on how to keep
your feet healthy!
