This clinic is for people who have trouble with their feet\, are curious about the\nhealth of their feet and/or may have one of the following criteria: \nConditions \nDiabetes \nBalance or flexibility issues \nNail problems \nFoot/leg deformities (i.e. flat feet\, bunions\, hammer toes…) \nCorns or callouses \nWears custom orthotics\, or problems finding shoes that fit \nCracks on heels \nPainful feet/legs \nNeurological\, muscular or bone conditions \nVision problems \nPoor foot or leg circulation \nfoot ulcer \nLoss of feeling in feet or legs \nNew to foot care \nAppointments: Call 613-621-0012 to leave your name and number.\nMichelle DeGrandmont RPN\, Foot Care Nurse\, will contact you to book an\nappointment.\nWhere: Chartwell Kanata\, 20 Shirley’s Brook Dr\, Kanata\, ON \nHow to prepare and what will happen at the appointment?\nPlease DO NOT cut your nails or file corns or callouses prior to your appointment. Please remove all\nnail polish\, & bring a list of your medications\, & a couple pairs of shoes and orthotics.\nThorough health assessments of your feet and legs by advanced and diabetic foot care nurses will be\nprovided as part of their Foot Care Nurse course\, including the following:\n foot risk assessment foot care treatment\,\n biomechanical assessment\, gait & balance analysis\,\n circulation test of your feet footwear and/or orthotic assessment\n You will receive personalized patient education handouts and recommendations on how to keep\nyour feet healthy! \n
