DRAO Flood Info Session

Staff from the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing will give a presentation on the Disaster Recovery Assistance for Ontarians (DRAO) program, including information on eligibility criteria, support documentation requirements, and how to apply. After the presentation, at about 6:30 pm, residents will have an opportunity to speak one on one with staff from the ministry and to ask questions specific to their circumstance.
Information Booklets, application forms, and a few Library laptops will be available for West Carleton residents wishing to start or complete their applications. Two identical sessions are offered; Monday and Thursday.
There are many misconceptions about the program; this session is recommended for every one who has sustained uninsured damages to their home/primary residence or business. This session is delivered by personnel who administer the program – we are not planning a Q & A with the elected officials who dictate program limits, structure, or eligibility.
