SUMMARY:DRAO Flood Info Session
DESCRIPTION:Staff from the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing will give a presentation on the Disaster Recovery Assistance for Ontarians (DRAO) program\, including information on eligibility criteria\, support documentation requirements\, and how to apply. After the presentation\, at about 6:30 pm\, residents will have an opportunity to speak one on one with staff from the ministry and to ask questions specific to their circumstance. \nInformation Booklets\, application forms\, and a few Library laptops will be available for West Carleton residents wishing to start or complete their applications.  Two identical sessions are offered; Monday and Thursday. \nThere are many misconceptions about the program; this session is recommended for every one who has sustained uninsured damages to their home/primary residence or business. This session is delivered by personnel who administer the program – we are not planning a Q & A with the elected officials who dictate program limits\, structure\, or eligibility.   \n
