Diefenbunker opening blast doors July 21

CARP – The City of Ottawa hits Step Three of the provincial Road to Reopening road map Friday (July 16), and the Diefenbunker: Canada’s Cold War Museum will open its blast doors for the first time in three months.
“We are pleased to announce the Diefenbunker: Canada’s Cold War Museum will reopen on July 21,” museum staff released in a statement today (July 14).
Hours of operation will be Wednesday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
“To ensure your safety, and that of your family, as well as our staff and volunteers, we’ve put extensive safety measures in place, implemented timed online ticketing, and introduced some new ways to explore the bunker,” staff said.
Masks will be mandatory within the 100,000 square foot underground museum.
