Colton’s raspberries ready for you

PANMURE – For those with access to water, its been a great growing season and for those who love raspberries, Colton’s Berries is ready for you.
Strawberry season has come and gone and raspberry season is here.
“It’s an excellent crop,” Marilyn Colton told West Carleton Online yesterday. “Owen’s been watering regularly.”
Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Coltons have modified their business a bit this season.
For one, customers are served by appointment only.
“We are taking all precautions possible,” Marilyn said. “Distancing in picking; exact change so no transfer of mines; limited pickers at any one time; out litre baskets are disinfected.”
You can find Colton’s Berries at 3986 Panmure Rd. at the corner of Panmure and Upper Dwyer Hill Road. The cost is $6 a litre if you pick your own and $8 for pre-picked.
