Celebrate holidays all day in Constance Bay Dec. 2

Special to WC Online

CONSTANCE BAY – Celebrate Christmas all day in Constance Bay this Saturday (Dec. 2).

It’s going to be a spectacular day in Constance Bay Saturday with a number of special holiday events going on.

Bright and early Saturday morning is the Constance Bay Community Market (CBCM) from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Constance and Buckham’s Bay community centre (262 Len Purcell Dr.).

“Kick off the festive season at our annual Christmas market,” the CBCM released in a statement. “Shop our excellent selection of local homemade preserves, honey, breads, baked goods, and practical to whimsical handcrafted items. Enjoy a delicious meal and decadent goodies while you review your holiday pantry and gifts list. The CBCM Christmas Market has something for everyone. We look forward to seeing you.”

Put your newly bought goods away and get ready for the Constance and Buckham’s Bay Community Association (CBBCA) Harlow’s Snow Blowing first ever Night Time Santa Claus Parade.

The nighttime is the right time for Santa, and the route, which starts from the community centre and travels around the community, mostly along Bayview Drive. The parade will start roughly around 5 p.m. “and travel the same route it always has,” organizers said.

After the parade, head back to the community centre where the CBBCA will be hosting a dinner and family dance with Santa.
