KINBURN – Kinburn’s Bennett Van Barr, 17, will be a member of the National Youth Orchestra of Canada (NYO) this season, an encore performance for the young violinist.

CARP – Scarecrows, ravens, corn, tractors and combines, when it comes to West Carleton’s premier party, the women really know how to dress up.

DUNROBIN – St. Mary’s Anglican Church will honour its royal link Sunday, May 5, serving high tea to the masses.

ALMONTE – “It fuels me,” world renowned luthier Linda Manzer said of her passion for building guitars. “It makes my world make sense standing at my workbench gluing wood together.”

CONSTANCE BAY – Last Saturday (March 30) a great big pile of kids ransacked the Constance and Buckham’s Bay community centre, all of them on the hunt for Easter eggs and the treats that lie within.
