WEST CARLETON – As tradition dictates, West Carleton fire stations will be spooky places to visit on All Hallows’ Eve.

WEST CARLETON – While we have already shared two of West Carleton’s biggest kids Hallowe’en parties, there are some other events going on in the community and West Carleton Online will share them with you in the form of our world famous briefs.

CONSTANCE BAY – Last Wednesday evening (Oct. 15) for the second time in as many weeks, the Constance Bay library hosted another fireside chat as the Ottawa Public Library (OPL) celebrates Canadian Library Month.

WEST CARLETON – Creativity. Conversation. Community. All to be experienced by visitors to the Fall Red Trillium Studio Tour, which is taking place the weekend of Oct. 18 to Oct. 19, in and around West Carleton.

CARP – As usual, there were a lot of great stories coming out of last weekend’s (Sept. 25 to Sept. 28) 162nd Carp Fair, but by far the most emotional and heartwarming was the return of 2025 President of Agriculture Kyle Rivington.

CARP – The 162nd Carp Fair finally arrives this week, and not only does it bring a lot of fun with it, it also does a lot of fundraising.

CONSTANCE BAY – While officially known as Bay Days, the one-day all ages event at the Constance and Buckham’s Bay Community Centre packed enough fun in to Saturday (Sept. 13) festival organizers could have easily filled a whole weekend.

CARP – Cheers to seven years.

CONSTANCE BAY – It’s the one week a year when the West Carleton Royal Canadian Legion opens its doors to everybody to let the community come in, find out what Branch 616 is all about, and maybe even become a member.

CONSTANCE BAY – For 20 years the Rural Root Theatre Company (RRTC) has been entertaining West Carleton (and beyond) fans with live theatre, and this year will be exactly the same, with lots of new stuff too.
