FITZROY HARBOUR – The return of the Harbour Days summer festival was warmly welcomed back after its two-year COVID- hiatus as happy Harbourites made the event one of the biggest in years.

FITZROY HARBOUR – For 45 years the Fitzroy Harbour Community Centre has been a beehive of activity and the hub of the community.

KINBURN – The artists were out in Kinburn June 24, working on painting projects that will help fund an even bigger painting project for the Kinburn Community Centre later this year.

FITZROY HARBOUR – Shake that Canada Day hangover, because it’s going to be another busy weekend (July 7 to July 9) in West Carleton this time in the form of the three-day celebration that is Harbour Days.

GALETTA – Antique lover Barry Dean opened his home last Saturday (June 25) to like-minded visitors who then had the opportunity to see one of the largest private collections of antique farm equipment, engines and classic cars in West Carleton and possibly eastern Ontario.

WEST CARLETON – Canada Day is giving West Carletonites an early end to the work week this year as a handful of events return from COVID-banishment.

DUNROBIN – While the wind threatened to blow away some tents last Saturday (June 18), it was the perfect compliment to the third annual Dunrobin Community Association (DCA) Fashion Show providing the perfect wind-swept look for the models walking the outdoor catwalk.

CARP – The uber-popular Carp Fair Drive-In Bingo returns this summer for five straight Wednesdays starting July 6.

DUNROBIN – The Dunrobin Community Association (DCA) Fashion Show returns this Saturday (June 18) for its third event, this time a fundraiser for the West Carleton Food Access Centre (WCFAC).

WEST CARLETON – West Carleton’s Red Trillium Studio Tour held its 45th edition last weekend (June 4, 5) and straight from the horse’s mouth, it’s as popular as ever.
