KINBURN – A senior mother and her son lost everything but the clothes on their back, when escaping a devastating fire last Thursday (Feb. 20) morning in Kinburn.

CITY HALL – In what was a very Ward 5 focused Agriculture and Rural Affairs committee (ARAc) meeting Thursday (Jan. 23), the committee publicly stated the motion to buy 223 acres near Fitzroy Harbour belonged with ARAc along and forwarded their own motion to prioritize  land that should also be considered for purchase for preservation.

CARP – The popular Carp Fair euchre series kicked off last Saturday (Jan. 18) with cards flying everywhere, but before the action started, organizers and players alike said goodbye to a longtime volunteer.
