CARP – A Carp Ridge Learning Centre (CRLC) charity dinner and annual general meeting put the spotlight on the charitable organization’s focus over the past year – West Carleton’s youth.

WEST CARLETON – The volunteer board of the West Carleton Food Access Centre (WCFAC) is expecting this holiday season to be busier than it ever has been as inflation remains high and the cost of living takes more dollars than it ever has before.

MacLAREN’S LANDING – Volunteer firefighters from Fitzroy Harbour rescued human and canine boaters this afternoon (Nov. 4) after an incident on the Ottawa River near Mohr’s Island.

CARP – The Carp Farmers’ Market paid tribute to their recently passed market manager by doing something they said Ennio Marcantonio made a priority – giving back to the community.

KINBURN – During the historic flooding if 2019, it was a combined effort from the community, working in concert with city staff and the military, to stay above water.

SOUTH MARCH – The 46th edition of the Red Trillium Studio Tour had to do some last minute, unforeseen shuffling, but delivered another top-notch artists’ tour backed by incredible fall weather.

KINBURN – Last week’s (Oct. 13) Kinburn Community Association (KCA) annual general meeting was an opportunity to say so long to a political ally and hello to a new association president.

CARP – West Carleton War Memorial committee members have made the challenging decision of cancelling the Remembrance Day service in 2022 and are seeking fresh blood to bring the popular service back in 2023.
