Bethel-St. Andrew’s Fashion Show makes May 3 spring debut

KINBURN – Just in time for spring, the Bethel-St. Andrew’s United Church Women’s (UCW) annual fashion show is ready to show off this season’s latest trends.

The annual fundraising event made its return from COVID-19 last year and looked like it didn’t miss a beat.

“We were really, really pleased,” UCW member Nancy Hayley told West Carleton Online last year. “Everyone was so excited just to be out.”

Mill Street Fashions out of Arnprior returns as the event’s designer.

“I was thrilled when Sandy (Preece) contacted me,” Mill Street Fashions designer-owner Julia McNab told West Carleton Online last year.

The fashion show will be held Wednesday, May 3 starting at 7:30 p.m. at the Kinburn Community Centre. Tickets are $15 and will not be available at the door.

“It’s one of our main fundraisers for the church, run by the United Church Women,” UCW member Judith Waddell told West Carleton Online April 12. “It’s a popular event. Usually, the Kinburn Community Centre is filled up for this.”
