Another big snow drop expected for WC Wednesday
Special to WC Online
WEST CARLETON – So far in 2023, we seem to be getting our snow in big piles.
While perhaps a little too far in the future, Environment Canada is calling for anywhere between 10- and 20-centimetres starting Wednesday (Jan. 25) evening in to Thursday (Jan. 26)
“A Texas low is expected to bring snow to southern Ontario late Wednesday into Thursday,” Environment Canada released in a Special Weather Statement today (Jan. 23). “Snowfall accumulations of 10 to 15 cm are possible, with locally higher amounts of up to 20 cm.”
Environment Canada says motorists can expect reduced visibility during the heavier parts of the snowfall and “rapidly accumulation snow will make travel difficult.”
