Week 2: West Carleton Online Holiday Trivia contest
By Jake Davies - West Carleton Online
WEST CARLETON – None of our contestants in Week 1 of our West Carleton Online Holiday Trivia contest had a perfect score. Not even the winner.
So don’t be shy, take a chance, we’re pretty sure the answers are all out there on the web somewhere, and you can be like Marathon Village’s Françoise L’Abbé and win your subscription for 2024.
We’re going to get right to it for Week 2 with the questions below, and don’t forget to email your answers (mention the contest in the subject line so we don’t miss it) to westcarletononline@gmail.com:
- What young lad who grew up on the Ottawa River near Dunrobin has a gold medal around his neck after winning a World Cup event in France last week?
- How much more is the average rural homeowner going to pay in municipal taxes in 2024 compared to 2023?
- How old is the Ottawa Valley Hunt club?
- What was Ottawa Senator forward Claude Giroux doing in Dunrobin last July?
- What’s a radome?
Email us your answers. The contestant with the most correct answers wins. Ties will be determined by a draw.
