WCFHT offering mental health workshop April 23, 24

WEST CARLETON – COVID-19 has been as challenging mentally as it has been physically taking a toll on untold millions physical and mental health.
The West Carleton Family Health Team (WCFHT) is helping its community on both of those fronts. Last weekend the WCFHT hosted a COVID-19 vaccination drive-through and will host one again this Saturday (April 24).
Also coming up this weekend the WCFHT is hosting a two-day virtual workshop for parents and caregivers of individuals struggling with mental health issues.
The workshop is titled How to Support Your Loved One’s Mental Health Regardless of Age: A Skilled Based Approach using Emotion-Focused Family Therapy.
The workshop will be held April 23 and April 24 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days.
