Take the Bay Christmas lights tour

CONSTANCE BAY – The entries are in and the map is made and now you can take the tour of more than 30 Constance Bay homes involved in the Light up the Bay Christmas lights competition.
This year the Constance Buckham’s Bay Community Association (CBBCA) couldn’t hold its annual Santa Day in the Bay and accompanying parade due to COVID-19 restrictions. So, board member Graham Ginsberg thought up the idea of the Light up the Bay competition. West Carleton Online spoke to Ginsberg about the competition Dec. 3.
Well, the entries are in and Ginsberg has created a map so residents can tour the homes and judge for themselves.
“All the entries are in and here is the last map,” Ginsberg released in a statement today (Dec. 18). “Take a ride around and view more than 30 houses that have put some illuminating displays. Thanks to all who took the time and effort to do this.”

On Dec. 18 and Dec. 19 CBBCA judges will take the tour an pick the winners for the Light up the Bay competition.
“And a big thanks you to our sponsors who have donated prizes – The Lighthouse, Happy Times, West Carleton Online, Deka Home Hardware, Harlow Snowblowing and the Constance Bay Pharmacy,” Ginsberg said. “Also a thanks to the Constance Bay Community Market for putting together a special Christmas Cheer Box for the Community Association to use as a prize.”
