St. Thomas Blue Christmas service Dec. 23

WOODLAWN – Don’t believe the Hallmark holiday movies, Christmas isn’t always a time for joy.

For several the holiday season can spark difficult memories or be a depressing time for some. Woodlawn’s St. Thomas Anglican Church has a special service for those who the Christmas season triggers difficult memories or thoughts.

St. Thomas’ annual Blue Christmas service will be held Wednesday, Dec. 23 at the church located at the intersection of Kinburn Side Road and Woodkilton Road.

The Blue Christmas Service is for those who find this time of year difficult for whatever reason,” organizers released in a statement today (Dec. 18). “All are welcome.”
