St. Mary’s silent auction kicks off March 2
Special to WC Online
DUNROBIN – Shop in peace and help raise money for St. Mary’s Anglican Church during their annual online silent auction.
“St. Mary’s Anglican Church is hosting an online Shop in Peace silent auction as a key fundraising event for our church,” St. Mary’s volunteers released in a statement last week (Feb. 17). “For those of you new to the area, St. Mary’s historical grey stone country church was built in 1909 and is nestled in a tranquil forested setting at 2574 6th Line Rd., Dunrobin. The funds raised will go towards supporting our upkeep as well as outreach programs for our community.”
You can see a number of those outreach programs through West Carleton Online’s coverage of the church and its events here.
This is the second time the volunteers have held the auction.
“We had so much fun with it last year, that we decided to do it again,” the church said. “We hope you will enjoy our collection of auction items this year. Thank you to the Friends of St. Mary’s who generously donated auction items. Hope you enjoy the auction and are successful in your bidding. Feel free to invite your family and friends to join in on the fun.”
Bidding for the Shop in Peace silent auction begins Thursday, March 2 at 8 a.m. and closes Thursday, March 9 at 8 p.m.
There are a variety of items to bid on including antiques and art, appliances, auto/boats, entertainment, gift baskets, gift certificates, health and beauty, home and garden and lots, lots more.
