Spring showers coming all at once in WC starting today

WEST CARLETON – Spring showers begin in earnest today (April 25) in West Carleton with Environment Canada calling for as much as 40 millimetres of rain for most of the day.
“Heavy rainfall possible today through tonight,” Environment Canada released in a statement early this morning. “Rainfall amounts of 25 to 40 mm may lead to localized flooding in low-lying areas.”
The weather watchers say it could rain until tomorrow morning.
“Total rainfall amounts of 25 to 40 mm will be possible before rain tapers off early Tuesday (April 26) morning. “Locally higher amounts are possible for areas that receives thunderstorms.”
