Rogers service out in WC, Canada

CANADA – Rogers customers across the country are without service as the network providing cell phone and Internet service to millions of Canadians has yet to fix an unidentified problem arising early this morning (July 8).

Interac and Fido services are also reported to be down.

Rogers has posted an update on their Twitter page, saying they are aware of issues affecting the networks.

“Our teams are fully engaged to resolve the issue as soon as possible. We will continue to keep you updated as we have more information to share,” the company released in a statement.

The issues appear to have begun sometime around 4 a.m. A timeline for when services will be restored has not yet been provided.

As of the time of publishing, 1:31 p.m. service has still not been restored.
