Quyon Ferry back at ‘er
FITZROY HARBOUR – The Quyon Ferry is open for business.
The Quyon Ferry is back on the water and shuttling vehicles across the Ottawa River as of this morning (April 10).
They initially hoped to be open tomorrow, but with milder weather, despite the snowfall yesterday, they were able to get into the water today.
The ferry has been in service for more than 100 years and provides an important inter-provincial link, relied upon by the agriculture, tourism and service industries in the Ottawa Valley.
