Ottawa firefighters had to saw open a steel drain to rescue a three-year-old boy from Rolling Meadow Crescent who got his hand trapped in the tub drain. Lubricant was not successful, so firefighters removed a portion of the drain and tub using a reciprocating saw and used a rotary tool to cut away the drain the boy’s hand was still trapped in.
